Introduction
RSM-ATR(A) All-terrain Detection Robot is specially designed for challenging environments with siltation and high water levels where conventional CCTV crawlers fail. Its dual-helix propulsion system allows smooth movement in shallow water, mud, sand, and high-water-level conditions. It delivers 4MP HD video with 360° rotation, integrates sonar and laser sensors for comprehensive inspection, and supports ultra-long-distance detection up to 1000 meters. With strong driving power, flexible maneuverability, and IP68 waterproof protection, it provides efficient, reliable, and high-quality inspection data for municipal drainage, culverts, rivers, and tunnels.
Application
High siltation and high water level detection in municipal (industrial) drainage pipes, culverts, tunnels, river channels, and box culverts without pretreatment.
Application Scenarios
Applicable for environments with high siltation and high water levels where conventional CCTV crawlers cannot be used, such as urban drainage, culverts, channels, tunnels, and rivers.

FAQs
Q
In what environments can the RSM-ATR(A) operate, and why is it better than conventional CCTV crawlers?
+
A
Its dual-helix propulsion is designed for high-water-level, silt-heavy, muddy, and sandy conditions where conventional crawlers struggle. It’s IP68 rated, suitable for pipes ≥500 mm diameter, and supports ultra-long inspections (customizable up to 1000 m).
Q
How far and how fast can it inspect, and what does the cable/winch system provide?
+
A
Standard cable length is 300 m (optional up to 1000 m). Travel speed reaches 0.58 m/s in still water (about 0.3 m/s against backflow). The automatic cable reel features a high-precision encoder (±0.1 mm), motorized winding/unwinding with adjustable brake tension, emergency stop, multi-layer auto-spooling, and a 300 kg tensile-strength cable.
Q
What sensors and deliverables does it offer for inspections?
+
A
It integrates a 4 MP PTZ front camera plus 2 MP rear camera, a laser rangefinder (0.1–12 m, ±1%), and a 2 MHz sonar (0.05–6 m, 0.5 mm accuracy). Control software supports real-time video/sonar/laser data display, camera PTZ and lighting control, snapshots/recording, on-screen annotations, data visualization, and report generation. Wireless and wired modes are available; dual-battery runtime is up to ~3 h.
