Our R&D Center houses over 40 experienced engineers and technical experts, specializing in geotechnical testing, non-contact optical measurement, AI-driven diagnostics, and smart monitoring technologies. This team is the engine behind our product innovation, continuously pushing boundaries to develop smarter, more efficient, and more accurate testing solutions for infrastructure safety.
Liu Shaoping
Senior Product Manager
Senior Engineer and Certified First-Class Constructor. Mr. Liu focuses on the development of new methods, technologies, and products for geotechnical monitoring and testing. He is currently involved in two National Key R&D Programs, holds three invention patents, has published five papers, and contributed to three technical standards.
Fu Hai
Senior Product Manager
M.Sc. in Geotechnical Engineering, Mr. Fu leads software and product development at SINOROCK. He has overseen multiple in-house R&D projects, including the development of the excavation monitoring platform, the RSM pipeline inspection series, multi-channel vibrating wire and digital acquisition systems, and transient surface wave instruments. He also participated in drafting the technical standard Monitoring and Measurement for Soft Rock Tunnels under the China Association for the Promotion of Industry-Academia-Research Cooperation, and co-authored the textbook Geotechnical Engineering Testing Technology.
Chen Kai
Product Manager & Internal Training Instructor
Mr. Chen has years of experience in engineering quality testing and has focused on innovation in pile testing technology. He contributed to industry standards, holds utility model patents, and has published several technical papers. He has participated in major infrastructure projects such as the Huyu-Rong High-Speed Railway, Zhengzhou-Wanzhou High-Speed Railway, and Guinan Railway. He also supports training and assessments in the National Pile Testing Training Program.
Li Chaosheng
Senior Product Manager & Internal Training Instructor
Mr. Li specializes in stress wave NDT equipment and methods, holding several national invention, utility model, and design patents. He co-authored Grouting Density Testing Technology for Prestressed Ducts as part of an engineering testing textbook series.
Yang Xin
Senior Product Manager
M.Sc. in Geotechnical Engineering. Mr. Yang has led research on testing methods and equipment for foundation piles and geotechnical investigation. He contributed to the industry standard Technical Code for Pile Testing in Offshore Wind Power Projects and the transportation standard Verification Regulation for Static Load Test Instruments. He co-authored the textbook Ground Testing Technology and is a guest lecturer for the Ministry of Transport.
Zou Yu
Technical Director
Recipient of the Wuhan May Day Labor Medal. With nearly 20 years in the engineering inspection field, Mr. Zou leads the team in technical innovation and instrumentation R&D. He has participated in two major projects under the Ministry of Science and Technology and provincial key projects. He holds 7 invention patents, contributed to 6 technical standards, and published multiple high-level academic papers. He has also lectured and conducted capability assessments on highway and water transport foundation testing in Zhejiang, Hubei, Sichuan, and Hebei. He is a guest lecturer for the Ministry of Transport’s online courses and co-editor of the textbook Foundation Pile Testing Technology (People's Transportation Publishing House).

Overseas Technical Consultant
Patrick serves as a technical consultant for Sinorock’s international clients, providing expert support throughout the pre-sales and after-sales process. He regularly conducts remote training sessions and has also delivered on-site technical guidance at numerous client locations worldwide. With a strong foundation in engineering applications and a client-oriented approach, Patrick ensures professional, timely, and effective technical support across global projects.
Tom Zhou
Director of Overseas Business Division
With nearly a decade of experience in engineering quality inspection, Tom Zhou began his career as a technical consulting engineer in Central China for Sinorock, where he contributed to numerous large-scale domestic projects. Since 2014, he has been dedicated to serving international markets. As Director of the Overseas Business Division, he is responsible for global market development, technical requirement coordination, and customer service. With strong field experience and in-depth industry knowledge, Tom plays a key role in bringing Sinorock’s solutions to partners around the world.
