To further enhance employee skills and strengthen cross-departmental collaboration, Wuhan Sinorock Technology Co., Ltd. successfully held the 5th Production Skills Competition on September 10, 2025, under the theme “Refined Skills for Superior Products, Collaborative Innovation to Reach New Heights.” The event concluded in a lively atmosphere, fully showcasing the professionalism, dedication, and team spirit of Sinorock employees.

Opening Ceremony

At the opening ceremony, Production Department Manager Cheng Silei introduced the competition’s content, rules, and key notes, officially kicking off the event.

This year’s competition adopted an innovative dual-track format combining “theoretical written exams + team practical operations,” comprehensively testing both knowledge and hands-on skills. The scope of participation was further expanded, with employees from the Production, Quality, Technical, and R&D departments competing together — marking the first appearance of the Technical and R&D departments. The judging panel was composed of members from multiple departments to ensure knowledge reinforcement, process integration, and strict quality control.

A total of 24 employees actively participated. To encourage competition and showcase talent, both team awards and individual awards were set up.

During his address, General Manager Wu Xiaomeng highlighted that this competition was the first major skills contest since the relocation to the new Corporate Intelligent Innovation Center. He noted that the larger venue and professional facilities provided a higher-quality platform for employees to demonstrate their abilities. Wu also emphasized that the competition is a long-standing Sinorock tradition, testing not only individual skills but also teamwork. He encouraged all participants to go all out, challenge themselves, and fully demonstrate the professional excellence of Sinorock.

Theoretical Exam

The theoretical exam was tailored by department:The Production Department focused on quality awareness, safety, process technology, and troubleshooting.The Quality Department emphasized total quality management, the seven types of waste, QC tools, AQL sampling, ISO 9001 systems, and common quality methods.

Candidates remained calm and focused, applying the knowledge and experience accumulated in their daily work.

Team Practical Operations

The practical project required four-person teams to collaborate in completing the full assembly and debugging of one main unit and one accessory within a specified time. The competition simulated the entire workflow from assembly to delivery, emphasizing precision, detail, and completion quality.Main unit assembly was assessed on product testing, problem analysis, and operational proficiency.Accessory assembly focused on ultrasonic probe assembly and functional testing.

On site, team members leveraged their expertise, coordinated smoothly, and worked against the clock. Skilled techniques and meticulous attention to detail highlighted their professionalism.

Award Ceremony

After the competition, Production Technology Supervisor Chen Can announced the results and delivered closing remarks. He stressed that high-quality products rely on solid theoretical foundations, close teamwork, refined skills, and standardized operations. A New Chapter at the Intelligent Innovation Center

In June 2025, Wuhan Sinorock relocated its production and after-sales base to the new Corporate Intelligent Innovation Center, upgrading both office and production environments. This move has further enhanced product quality and after-sales service.

The competition, held in the bright and well-organized new production workshop, not only reflected the hardware upgrade but also vividly embodied the company’s quality philosophy: “Technology-driven development, pursuit of quality excellence, integrity in service, and continuous innovation.”
