Testing Purpose & Method
The purpose of this inspection was construction self-checking to verify borehole cleanliness and ensure the quality of pile foundations for the Yangtze River bridge structure. The sediment thickness detection method was applied to evaluate the interface conditions of sediment, floating debris, and slurry at the pile bottom.

Testing Results
Findings:
Sediment–floating debris interface: clear
Floating debris–slurry interface: clear
Sediment thickness: 10 mm
Impact: Results were within allowable design specifications; no negative effect on pile performance.
