Testing Equipment: Low Strain Pile Integrity Tester
Testing Purpose & Background
The primary objective of this project was to evaluate the integrity of foundation piles supporting the residential buildings. Given the importance of structural safety for high-rise housing, pile integrity testing was conducted to ensure the foundations complied with design standards and construction quality requirements.
Testing Method
-
Method Applied: Low Strain Integrity Testing (Sonic Echo Method)
-
Scope: Random sampling inspection of residential building piles
-
Procedure: Test signals were collected by attaching sensors to pile heads. Wave reflections were analyzed to identify potential defects, discontinuities, or weak zones along the pile shaft.
Results & Evaluation
-
Pile Integrity: The tested piles showed no significant defects, with the overall integrity assessed as good.
-
Project Evaluation: The inspection confirmed that the foundation piles meet quality requirements, providing a safe and reliable base for the residential structures.
-
Equipment Performance: The low strain tester performed reliably and fully met the on-site testing requirements, ensuring efficient and accurate data collection.
