Dalian Airport Project – Reinforcement Cage Length Testing

Release time:

2025-09-29 08:55

Project Name: Dalian Airport Project

Project Type: Airport Construction

Location: Dalian, China

Testing Equipment: RSM-RLT(C) Reinforcement Cage Length Tester

Testing Purpose & Method
The objective of this testing was to conduct construction self-inspection of foundation piles for the airport terminal building. The magnetic method was applied to measure the length of reinforcement cages inside the pile shafts, ensuring that the cages had not deformed or deviated during construction.

Testing Scope

Target: Reinforcement cages of terminal building piles

Method: Magnetic method using pre-embedded interface pipes (steel pipes) within the pile shafts

Additional Site Conditions: Presence of sonic logging pipes and grout pipes, which required multiple measurements and data comparison to ensure accuracy

Testing Results

The magnetic method provided clear signals at each reinforcement cage connection, fully consistent with the construction records and design specifications.

No abnormal deformation or length discrepancy of reinforcement cages was observed.

Data reliability was confirmed despite potential interferences, demonstrating that the piles met design and construction quality requirements.

Conclusion
The RSM-RLT(C) equipment delivered accurate and reliable test data, allowing for effective quality verification of reinforcement cage installation during airport foundation construction.
